Translation agency Translatio Comm.V was founded in 2009 by Charline Helsmoortel in Ostend, Belgium.

Charline Helsmoortel is a qualified and sworn, c.q. certified translator Dutch, French, English and German.

In 2007, she was awarded a Bachelor in Applied Linguistics from the Higher Institute for Interpreters and Translators (HIVT – now called Artesis) in Antwerp followed by her Master in Translation: English, German and Dutch in July 2008 (cum laude). She worked as a study coach and freelance translator for private individuals during her studies.

After being awarded her master’s degree she took up employment with tour operator Tui for nine months, where she was responsible for all Dutch, English and German correspondence, and still worked part-time as a freelance translator.

She was sworn in before the court of first instance in Bruges and district court in The Hague in February 2009 and established translation agency Translatio Comm.V in August 2009. Since then, she has been translating for translation agencies, companies and private individuals all over the world.
